Editorial Style Guide
The Communications Office uses the as its primary style reference, and, as a result, many of guidelines in this directory reflect rules of that resource. This guide is not intended to be comprehensive. It addresses some of the more troublesome areas, as well as instances where 51ÁÔÆæ style supersedes AP style.
Please note that style for academic writing may differ from this guide. Students preparing papers for classes should consult the Writing Center’s Style Sheet.
