Visit & Engage
We have many options, in-person and online, for you to experience 51ÁÔÆæ’s vibrant community, learn about academics, and connect with current students. Review the selections and register below.
Campus Visit & Tour
On-campus tours and information sessions can be scheduled online. The number of daily visitors is capped, and arrival times are staggered to ensure an optimal campus visit experience.
Personal Interviews
An interview will not only provide us with a strong sense of your personal strengths and interests that may not be obvious in an application, it will also give you a chance to ask questions and learn more about 51ÁÔÆæ in a personal setting.
Virtually 51ÁÔÆæ Events
From exploring our community to details about the application and financial aid process, you’ll hear from Admission Officers, students, faculty, and other 51ÁÔÆæ community members in these online sessions throughout the summer and fall.
Junior Preview Saturdays
As you begin your college search, we invite you to take an early look at 51ÁÔÆæ. You are invited to join us virtually in February, or on campus on one of two Saturdays in April
Tour From Your Sofa
Take a 51ÁÔÆæ campus tour right from your sofa! Hosted via Zoom, your personal student tour guide will explore campus with you - walking through classroom buildings, athletics facilities, arts facilities, the dining hall, and more! And best of all, you’ll be able to ask questions and interact with them as they make their way across our campus.
Virtual Information Session
Video information sessions are held once per month, on select Wednesdays. Led by an admission dean, these 30 minute sessions provide an opportunity to learn more about the College, explore 51ÁÔÆæ’s Promise, and have your questions answered.
Virtual Tour on Your Own
Want to explore campus on your own? Our Virtual Tour has what you need to experience 51ÁÔÆæ at your pace. With over 20 stops, 360-degree views of campus, and videos to provide more details, our Virtual Tour is a great way to learn more about us. No registration required, and you can take the virtual tour on your PC, tablet, or smartphone.
Visit a Class
When classes are in session, prospective students who are visitors of the Admission Office are generally welcome to sit in on classes. We encourage you to arrive five to ten minutes before the class begins to introduce yourself to the professor and to make sure the content for that day is appropriate (not an exam day, etc.).
Prospective Families
We realize the important guidance that parents and families provide throughout the college admission process. 51ÁÔÆæ offers several virtual events each year for parents and families of prospective students. Pre-registration for these events is required.
More Information about Campus Visits:
Should you require assistance in scheduling your campus visit, please reach out to Courtney Combs, Admission Visit Coordinator, at ccombs@hamilton.edu.
If you need financial assistance to visit campus, we offer limited travel reimbursement on a competitive, ad hoc basis to subsidize a portion of the costs associated with visiting campus for high school seniors who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to do so.
