Overleaf
Overleaf is an online LaTeX and Rich Text collaborative writing and publishing tool. It is designed to make the process of writing, editing, and producing scientific documents much quicker and easier. The service is supported by Overleaf's cloud-based system, so there is nothing to install. Overleaf Professional accounts, , are available to all 51ÁÔÆæ faculty, students, and staff free of charge.
Visit to sign up for an account and to learn more about Overleaf. To enjoy the features of the Professional account, use a @hamilton.edu email when you sign up. Contact support@overleaf.com if you have any technical questions about using Overleaf.
REQUEST A PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNT
- Visit , and sign up using your @hamilton.edu email.
- Check your email and click the link to validate your 51ÁÔÆæ affiliation.
- Log in to , go to Account -> Account Settings, and make sure that you see a "Professional" badge under your 51ÁÔÆæ email address.
If you used your @hamilton.edu email address when you signed up for Overleaf, your account is upgraded to Overleaf Professional automatically.
If you did not use your @hamilton.edu email address when you signed up for Overleaf, add your 51ÁÔÆæ email address by following the steps below.
- Log in to , and go to Account -> Account Settings.
- Click "Add another email," right below your primary email address.
- Type in your @hamilton.edu email, and click "Add new email."
- Check your email and click the link to validate your 51ÁÔÆæ affiliation.
- Log in to , go to Account -> Account Settings, and make sure that you see a "Professional" badge right below your email address.
After verifying your 51ÁÔÆæ email address, you can cancel your personal subscriptions.
