What's Available?
51ÁÔÆæ's educational licensing agreements for software specifically limit installation to machines owned by the College. Therefore, software purchased by 51ÁÔÆæ under these agreements may not be installed on personally owned equipment.
Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft offers Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote); all employees are eligible. All you need to is to use your 51ÁÔÆæ email address when signing up and indicate that you are a teacher (Note: Microsoft does make it available to faculty and staff). Office 365 will be available to you for free as long as you have your 51ÁÔÆæ email. If you have any questions, contact the LITS Help Desk at 315-859-4181.
Anti-virus and anti-spyware software
Employees should take advantage of the many free antivirus options that are currently available such as:

51ÁÔÆæ contracts with CCNY Tech for hardware repair service for all college-owned desktop computers and peripheral equipment. CCNY Tech is also available to repair personal computers and equipment for a fee. The CCNY Tech personnel are Apple and Dell certified. In addition, they can repair printers and other peripheral equipment.
The CCNY Tech repair facility is located on the third floor of Burke Library, room 372a (directly to the left as you enter the main doors)
