Greetings! I am the Assistant Dean of Students for Community Living, which means that I oversee the Community Living Office including the areas of student conduct, housing and residence hall living. I started at 51 in 2009 as an Area Director and planned to stay for 3 years but loved it so much that I never left! I love how beautiful our campus is and how I get to share the experience of growth and development with students during their time here. In my free time, I enjoy watching sitcoms and cooking. When it’s warm, I also love taking long walks through the glen!

I am the Associate Director of Housing and Conduct, and have been at 51 since 2019. I oversee the management of campus housing and am a hearing officer. I am passionate about creating a safe and inclusive environment where students can thrive. I received my Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Lemoyne College, and my Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. I love to engage with students to address their needs and concerns, and to provide guidance and support through their time here. When I am not working, I am an avid reader who enjoys exploring a wide range of literature. Come see me if you have questions about housing, or if you want to tell me about a good book you have read!

Hi! I’m the brand new Associate Director of Community Living and I’m so excited to be joining the Hamily! A bit about me- I graduated from Wells College (2018) with my B.A.s in both Political Science & History before moving on to Syracuse University (2020) where I earned my M.S. in Higher Postsecondary Education. Yes, I was a COVID graduate! I am grateful to have experience working in a variety of functional areas, including diversity work, Title IX, orientation, and student activities, but have really found my professional home in residential life and programming. I was most recently the Assistant Director of Student Engagement for Residence Life & Housing at Le Moyne College where I gained a deeper appreciation and commitment to social justice, discernment, and holistic development. I currently live in Syracuse with my husband, Cameron, and the two best dogs in the world, Kai and Oki. If you’re in Elihu Root, stop by and say hi! I’ll show you lots of puppy pics. “A really great girl!”- My Mom “So cool I didn’t even bite her!” - The shark I accidentally swam with

Hailing from Portland, Jamaica, I bring diverse experiences and a dedication to higher education. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Higher Educational Management from the University of the West Indies, Mona. My higher education journey began in January 2020, centered on student development and inclusivity. During my undergraduate years, I was deeply involved in student government, volunteerism, and mental health advocacy, which, along with a pivotal exchange program at Florida State University in 2018, fueled my passion. Since September 2022, I have served as the Area Director on the Southside at 51, focusing on creating enriching programs and enforcing policies. My professional interests include group dynamics, holistic well-being, and supporting first-year students. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, museums, beach time, and yoga. My mission is to positively impact students' lives, helping them thrive academically and personally.

I am excited to be joining the Community Living team this year as an Area Director! I recently graduated with my M.S. in Higher Education Student Affairs Administration from Canisius University. In my time there I worked as a Graduate Hall Director as well as having multiple internships in different functional areas. I was able to intern at the University of Texas at San Antonio in their Orientation and Family Programs Office and Hilbert College in their Undergraduate Admissions Office. Before earning my M.S. at Canisius I earned my B.S. at SUNY Brockport with a major in Theatre. Ever since starting my work in the higher education field I have fallen in love with working with students and have made it my mission to ensure that they are comfortable and get the most out of their higher education experience. When I am away from work, I love to golf, play video games, watch sports (especially football "Go Bills!") as well as being a big professional wrestling fan.

I am the Staff Assistant for Community Living and I’m so excited for this opportunity to be a part of the 51 Community! I recently graduated from Onondaga Community College with an A.S. in Business Administration. After working for many years I returned to college as a student and was reminded of how much I enjoyed being in higher education, as well as being able to interact with students! I am originally from Massena NY, but I live in the Syracuse area where I have been working for the last eight years. In my spare time I am a Bridal Makeup Artist, working out of downtown Syracuse. I also really enjoy attending local concerts and sporting events, and being outside as much as possible before the winter months return. I am so looking forward to this new environment, and getting to meet everyone here at 51!
