Frequently Asked Questions
If you have questions about your bill, please call the originating department immediately. If you are unsure of the department, contact Student Accounts at 315-859-4324 or email stuaccts@hamilton.edu, and we will direct you to the appropriate department.
This program provides coverage of tuition, room and board fees when a student must withdraw from college due to a medical or mental health illness. More information is available our Tuition Insurance Plan page.
Federal work-study is paid directly to the student based on the hours worked.
The Installment Payment Plan (IPP) administered by Blackboard/CASHNet enables students and their families to make interest-free monthly installments to pay each semester's tuition and expenses. IPP Enrollment is by semester only. Your monthly payments do not appear on your 51ÁÔÆæ bill as they are reflected in Blackboard/CASHNet's billing statements. You are responsible for paying any amounts remaining due on your 51ÁÔÆæ tuition account after the payment plan credit has been applied, including amounts still due if you underestimated your budget.
PayMyTuition:
51ÁÔÆæ has also partnered with PayMyTuition to make student account payments easier for international students and their families. Paying tuition with PayMyTuition is safe, fast and convenient and is an additional option to make an international payment. Payments may be made in the student's home currency and the exchange rates provided are extremely favorable. In order to make a payment, it is not necessary to know the banking information for 51ÁÔÆæ. Simply go to and provide information required to initiate payment from an account outside the U.S.
Flywire:
51ÁÔÆæ has partnered with Flywire to make student account payments easier for international students and their families. Paying tuition with Flywire is safe, fast and convenient. Payments may be made in the student's home currency and the exchange rates provided are extremely favorable. In order to make a payment, it is not necessary to know the banking information for 51ÁÔÆæ. Simply go to and provide information required to initiate payment from an account outside the U.S. Payments may also be made by credit card, but an additional convenience fee is applied.
Summer Housing will only be available to students actively enrolled at 51ÁÔÆæ who are employed on campus full time (35 hours or more per week) or who are conducting 35 hours or more of research sponsored by a 51ÁÔÆæ Faculty member on campus.
Summer Housing will not be available to students who are working off campus or who are participating in remote internships/research opportunities.
The cost of summer housing is $84 per week for a single room, and $70 a week for a double room with two occupants.
