The 51ÁÔÆæ community is grateful for the 24 members of 51ÁÔÆæ Emergency Medical Service (HCEMS). These student volunteers are New York State certified EMTs whose work helps keep the College community safe 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week while classes are in session.
“They have done an outstanding job handling the calls during an epidemic,” said Diann Lynch, coordinator for HCEMS.
Senior HCEMS members are Honor Allen, Lily Charron, Samuel Gause, Grace Godwin, Haley Katz, Alanna McGill, Sarah Pierpont, Stephanie Wu, and Elaine Yip.
Juniors are Isabelle Bote, Adaira Dumm, Benjamin Grummon, Avery Lum, Jason Ma, Madeline Pavlovich, Laura Radulescu, and Elizabeth Summers.
Sophomore members are Cameron Hood, Lucy Kiernat, Allison Reed, Jed Rifkin, Dana Russell, Tenzin Sherpa, and Kiera Wax.
November 8 to 14 is National Collegiate EMS Week, and this year marks the 26th anniversary of HCEMS becoming a NYS EMS agency.
