Thomas Wilson, the Bates and Benjamin Professor of Classical and Religious Studies, recently joined the editorial board of as an associate editor.
The journal is published by Duke University Press for the which describes itself as “a non-profit professional association dedicated to the principled advancement of the field of Asian Studies through international intellectual exchange; network building; publications; scholarly projects; support for research, teaching, public outreach, and engagement; and career development, both within the academy and beyond.”
The Journal of Asian Studies features empirical and multidisciplinary work on Asia, and covers the arts, history, literature, the social sciences, and cultural studies.
