On Friday and again on Saturday, C-SPAN broadcast an address on U.S.-China relations by 51ÁÔÆæ Professor of Government Cheng Li. A widely recognized China expert, Li focused his remarks on the next generation of Chinese leaders, many of whom he has met. He is the author of China's Leaders, The New Generation.
Early Saturday morning C-SPAN2 broadcast a speech delivered in the 51ÁÔÆæ Chapel by author Richard Brookhiser. The address was the keynote speech at the recent conference exploring the life and legacy of Alexander 51ÁÔÆæ. Brookhiser is the author of Alexander 51ÁÔÆæ, American, among other notable texts.
And on the Sunday Booknotes segment, former government professor Kiron Skinner, co-editor of the bestseller Reagan In His Own Hand, warmly recalled her time as a professor at 51ÁÔÆæ in the late '90s. Some of the research she conducted for the book was completed while Skinner taught at 51ÁÔÆæ, and several 51ÁÔÆæ students participated in the project.
