Prunier is a Hispanic studies major and Italian minor. She has volunteered as a Spanish tutor at Clinton Elementary School and as a 51 orientation leader for three years. Last spring she studied in Florence, Italy.
Also a Hispanic studies major, Wandja has been active at 51 as a residential advisor and an alumni relations intern in the Advancement Office. He is a member of the Brothers organization and writes for The Spectator.
The Gilman Scholarship Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, offers grants up to $5,000 to undergraduates for academic studies or credit-bearing, career-oriented internships abroad. Such international exchange is intended to prepare U.S. students to assume roles in an increasingly global economy and interdependent world.
