The Physical Education Department supports the following club programs:

Alpine Ski Team

The 51ÁÔÆæ Alpine Ski team provides students with the opportunity to either continue participating in competitive alpine racing events or discover the sport for the first time. We participate in the Mideast Division of USCSA, the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association. Our division hosts 5 regular season 2-day races culminating in the Regional Championship. At Regionals, teams and individuals have the chance to qualify for the USCSA National Championship. Contact Alpine Ski Team at alpineski@hamilton.edu.

Club Curling

The 51ÁÔÆæ Curling Team hopes to expose members to the wonders of the little known sport of Curling. We practice and compete in a fun non-competitive league dedicated to sportsmanship and the spirit of curling. Contact Club Curling at curl@hamilton.edu.

Club Figure Skating

The figure skating team aims to provide practice space and lesson time for figure skaters of all levels. We practice 3 times a week when the rink is open, choreograph a routine which is performed at the Citrus Bowl, compete annually, and host Ham Skate, a free night of skating for the 51ÁÔÆæ community. Contact Club Figure Skating at hcfsc@hamilton.edu.

Club Ice Hockey

The 51ÁÔÆæ Club Hockey Team provides the opportunity to play quality hockey in a competitive environment. 51ÁÔÆæ Club Hockey consists of experienced members who have played at the high school and prep school level. The team competes in the Upstate New York Club Hockey League (UNYCHL) and has won league championships in 2010 and 2018. Practices are held on Monday and Wednesday nights with games on weekends. Experience is recommended and new players are welcomed. Contact Club Ice Hockey at hchockey@hamilton.edu.

Club Water Polo

The 51ÁÔÆæ Water Polo Club is an open organization created for the advancement of water polo skills and intercollegiate competition. Founded in the Spring of 2009, the club competes every fall in the competitive New York Division (against Columbia, Colgate, Cornell, New York University, and Syracuse University). Prior experience is not necessary. Contact Club Water Polo at poloclub@hamilton.edu.

The club competes in IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association) competitions and focuses on hunter-jumper style riding. The goal is to provide riding lessons and show opportunities for all members. Contact Men's Rugby Club at hcrugby@hamilton.edu.

Nordic Skiing

We are a competitive nordic ski team for people who want to learn how to ski or improve their skills, both on our campus trails and at collegiate competitions. Contact Nordic Skiing at hnordic@hamilton.edu.

Sailing Team

The 51ÁÔÆæ Sailing Team is a competitive, student-led, club team in the MAISA College Sailing conference. We have a race team and a recreational/casual team, and we cater to whatever your experience level and commitment capacity is. In the fall, we practice 3-4 times a week and compete in regattas every weekend all over the mid-Atlantic. In terms of required commitment for the race team, going to all practices and most regattas is encouraged but not mandatory. We are a club sport, and while we hold ourselves to a high standard and are all competitive, we are also all very busy students. The mission of the race team is to give experienced people the opportunity to compete at a high level collegiately without it being all consuming (i.e. totally fine to skip practice if you have a big test or are just too busy). The recreational team has no requirements or expectations around commitment. Contact Sailing Team at sailing@hamilton.edu.

Ultimate Frisbee

The 51ÁÔÆæ Ultimate Frisbee team is a group of people who is passionate about creating a fun, spirited, and inclusive space to play ultimate! We are an ever-growing, self-coached team that accepts players of all types of experience. Our team practices year-round. During our fall and spring seasons, we practice outdoors Monday through Friday for two hours. We attend several open and women’s tournaments each fall in the Northeast and have been known to take home a trophy or two. We continue our practices indoors two or three times a week during the winter months. In the spring, we compete in the Metro East USAU college series. Last year, our women's team made it to regionals, and the men's team made it to nationals in Texas! Off the field, the team enjoys many social gatherings and unique team bonding throughout the year, like team dinners, formals, hangs, and movie nights! Contact Ultimate Frisbee at ultimate@hamilton.edu.

Women's Club Soccer

The purpose of this organization is to give female students a chance to play soccer at a competitive level in an environment that is more relaxed than that of varsity soccer. Contact Women's Club Soccer at clubscr@hamilton.edu.

Women's Rugby Football Club

No experience required, and the majority of students who join the team have no prior knowledge of the game. The team typically practices on Minor Field from 4:30 to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday. We are a part of the Upstate New York Collegiate Rugby Conference (UNYCRC), and we compete in both the fall and spring seasons. Rugby is a club sport, meaning that there are no try-outs, no cuts, and everyone plays. Contact Women's Rugby Football Club at hcwrugby@hamilton.edu.
