In this first-year course, we will explore lessons from psychology on how to optimize the college experience. Students will discover the science behind academic success and personal well-being as we discuss topics such as self-control, learning and memory, identity formation, belonging, relationships, and stress. Through reflection and regular practice of techniques for managing time, focus, and emotions, this course will help students 鈥渒now thyself鈥� and find ways to thrive during their time on the Hill.
