| Course Description: | Advanced work aimed at completing a philosophical essay or experiential project on a topic of each student’s interest. In collaboration with other members of the seminar, each student will frame and explore a philosophical problem. For a standard project, students will develop an extended thesis-driven essay. For an experiential project, students will develop sustained engagement with activities that develop or apply philosophical views outside traditional academic structures in a reflective, creative, and rigorous way. All projects will be presented publicly at the end of the term. |
