| Course Description: | This course will use the East African Rift System to explore Quaternary Earth System processes through reading of scientific literature and practice in scientific writing. Topics covered will include the origins of rifting, sedimentary basin analysis, and the implications of paleoenvironmental and paleoclimatic reconstruction on our understanding of hominin evolution. |
