Nicole Lynn McDaniels holds a B.S. in biological sciences with a concentration in cellular and molecular biology from the University at Buffalo. She completed her Ph.D. in biology and earned a Certificate in University Teaching at Syracuse University. Her research focused on elucidating the roles of a chromatin remodeler in zebrafish development with implications for human disease. Nicole is passionate about helping her students succeed. She is interested in promoting and leading discussions related to biology, especially genetics, using engaging, sensitive, and inclusive conversations.
