Cody Couture
Assistant Professor of Economics
Cody Couture received his B.A. in mathematics and economics from Skidmore College and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Irvine. His research interests lie in macroeconomics, monetary economics, and macro-finance. Couture’s current work examines the relationship between market and central bank expectations and the effect that these expectations can have on both financial markets and the real economy. He is also interested in understanding how the institutional features of a central bank impact the transmission of its expectations.
